 4th May 1978  Official Naming Ceremony in London. Top of funnel could not be fitted due to height  clearence under London's bridges.
 13th May 1978  Entered Service between Esbjerg and Harwich
 29th December 1982  Sold to K/S Difko XXI, Esbjerg. Bareboat chartered back to DFDS for 10 years, with  a option to purchase after 5 years. Service remained the same.
 January 1987  Timecharted to Sealink and Stoomvaart Maatschappij Zeeland (SMZ) for service  between Harwich and Hoek van Holland. Relieving both mv St. Nicholas (Sealink)  and mv Koningin Beatrix (SMZ) for refits.
 23rd November 1988 to 11th February 1989  Operated the Copenhagen to Oslo service in place of mv Dana Gloria. mv Dana  Gloria being sent to Meyer Werft, Papenburg, Germany to be lengthend and rebuilt.  mv Dana Gloria re-enters service as mv King of Scandinavia.
 29th December 1989  Sold to DFDS A/S, Esbjerg. Price 213mDKK
 18th January 1993 to 1st February 1993  Refurbished by Werft Nobiskrug GmbH. Price 10mDKK
 17th December 1998  Register transferred to DIS. Due to DIS regulations the ship had to call at any third  port during normal service
 3rd January 1999 to 21st August 2000  Route amended to Esbjerg -> Harwich -> Ijmuiden -> Esbjerg. A total of 205 calls  at Ijmuiden were made
 5th January to 18th February 2000  Sponsons, Ducktail fitted and modifications to Bulbous Bow were made during refit
 31st July 2000  Sold to DFDS Seaways A/S, Esbjerg
 12th September 2002  Renamed mv Duke of Scandinavia and registered in Copenhagen. Name not yet  applied to ship.

 27th September 2002  Final Departure to Esbjerg from Harwich
 30th September 2002  Change of Name takes place and final departure from Esbjerg, this time destination  is Copenhagen
 2nd October 2002  Naming ceremony in Copenhagen and entry into service. Copenhagen ->  Trelleborg -> Gdansk
 22nd November 2003  Final departure from Gdansk. Arriving in Copenhagen next day. Route closed. Ship  transfered to Newcastle
 28th November 2003  First sailing Newcastle to Ijmuiden
 21st November 2005  Bareboat charter agreed with Brittany Ferries for two years with optional one year
 9th February 2006  Final departure from Ijmuiden. Following arrival in Newcastle on the 10th the ship  destored and proceeded to Frederikshavn for overhaul and repainting of the hull.
 23rd February 2006  Departed Frederikshavn for Cherbourg, France. Arriving on the 25th February
 27th February 2006  Handed over to Brittany Ferries. Renamed mv Pont l'Abbe and registered in  Morlaix.

 6th March 2006  Entered service between Portsmouth and Cherbourg
 30th March 2006  Entered service between Plymouth and Roscoff
 19th December 2007  Ship sold to Brittany Ferries. Service unchanged.
