Stavanger

Driving:

The ferry port is about 280 miles from Oslo will take approximately 7 hours. Follow the E18 from Drammen and continue through Vestfossen and Kongsberg and then follow the E134 to Stavanger.

From Bergen the port of Stavanger is approximately 120 miles with an average journey time of 4 hours. Follow Byvegen until Os and then on to the E39 through Tysvaer and Randeberg to Stavanger.

By Train:

The Norwegian State railway has trains set up to go along the southern coast of Norway all the way to Oslo. There are no trains northward towards Bergen.

The railway station is located in the center of town and can be reached in 3 hours 4 times daily from Kristiansand and in 8 hours from Oslo 3 times daily.

Haugersund

Driving:

From Bergen & Stavanger take the E-39 motorway through several tunnels, some which go under the sea and can be a unique experience!

Driving from Oslo and eastern Norway, take the E-134 motorway which crosses the Haukelifjellet Mountains and contains many scenic view points.

By Train:

The Norwegian State railway has trains set up to go along the southern coast of Norway all the way to Oslo. There are no trains northward.

The railway station is located in the centre of town.
